Message from the Chairman

 

The year 2010 has been a fruitful year for the Foundation. A milestone for PJLFI, we celebrated our 10^th anniversary last year. Those 10 years of helping others through the Foundation have given us valuable opportunities to give back and discover what it really means to serve.

 

I am happy to note that our nationwide scholarship program, one of the pioneer projects of the Foundation, now has 180 promising scholars and 222 graduates. We have also continued with our Ang Galing Mo Bata! feeding programs and medical missions in partnership with UNILAB.

 

Among our other successful projects in 2010 are the Christmas parties and gift-giving program for pre-school students of Barangay Talungon Day Care Center and children from Mt. Banahaw , Quezon with the Young Journalists Association of Mandaluyong. We have also distributed the proceeds of our “Alay sa Bayan” National Can project and, with the cooperation of the Philippine Red Cross, we organized a “Give love, Give blood this Christmas,” a bloodletting activity where many of our PJ Lhuillier, Inc. employees have participated.

 

PJLFI is looking forward to an exceptional 2011 that will open more doors for touching lives. We also wish to express our gratitude for the clients of the companies under PJ Lhuillier, Inc. who through their support and loyalty, are helping make our Foundation’s vision a reality.
