The Nationwide Give Love Give Blood This Christmas

December 28, 2011 - In celebration of PJ Lhuillier Foundation, Incorporated’s (PJLFI) 11th anniversary, the Nationwide Give Love, Give Blood this Christmas was held. This is a tie-up project of the PJLFI with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC). A total of 170 bags of blood from PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies’ employees, relatives, friends and clients were collected in the simultaneous nationwide blood-letting conducted in 16 venues from Cebuana Lhuillier Regions 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3, 4A, 4B and 5 and PJ Lhuillier, Inc. (PJLI) Head Offices. The highest number of donors came from Region 4B with a total of 33 bags of blood, followed by the PJLI Head Office with 31 bags, and Region 1B with 29 bags of blood.

The project aims to promote healthy lifestyle and the culture of sharing and volunteerism and to support the call for saving lives and alleviating human suffering. The Donor’s Cards will be kept by the PJLFI and Cebuana Lhuillier Regional Offices in case their employees or members of their immediate families, as well as other guest donors, will have urgent need for blood in the future.
